Whenever we are ready to combine these two passions of ours, we contact the cruise and travel specialist, Mrs. Randi Winter of Passionate Travel, for suggestions and recommendations. South America has always been one of our most desired destinations.  The exciting Latin American cities like Santiago , Montevideo and Buenos Aires and the remote romantic places like Ushuaia, Patagonia, Magellan straits and Tierra Del Fuego have always captured and ignited our imagination.  But how do you get there? With those vast distances, the substantial cost, the complicated routes ,we turned to Randi, who is a specialist in " Inspired Pursuits " .  She asked us some questions, about our preferences, available time frame, budget, standard of hotels required etc. and she came up with the best deal for us:  A 17 day cruise with Oceania's beautiful ship "Insignia" , going from Valparaiso - Chile, through the Chilean fiords, Magellan Straits and Cape Horn, down to amazing Antarctic and up north again to Buenos Aires.   And what a great  itinerary it was. In addition to finding the perfect cruise to suit our requirements, Randi made suggestions of how to make the most of our cruise.   And she was right.   From an added three days in bustling Buenos Aires to a taxi driver in Montevideo, from flying a day earlier, in order to rest and get accustomed to the different time zone, to a surprise birthday cake on the ship for my birthday.   It was a marvelous trip planned by a very knowledgable and experienced travel specialist.   Thank you Randi.                                                                    --- Deborah and Hezi Messenberg.               Vancouver BC and Herzelia Israel Hi Randi!!!!!! Thank you so much for all your help!  I know I've said this many many times but BOY do I mean it now!!!!  We all had a great time!  Weather was perfect - a little sprinkle in Skagway but then it was gone - sky cleared up and was beautiful!  There were so many highlights of the trip that I can't possibly tell you all about them!!!!  Just know that Joe and I loved our room with the balcony and had the best of time!  So glad to be home - trip was great but you know what they say - it's good to go away and good to get back home! Randi Winter is like a cross between a sponge and some futuristic dream machine: She is very careful to take in all of your wishes and then she spits out the most discerning and well-rounded, perfectly paced journey for you to sink your teeth into. It’s rare that in dealing with a human being that I feel I am in the presence of a fine fine  wine, with astute blends, consistent, and with remarkable bouquet after bouquet. (And still delivering after all these years!!) As a travel photographer, I am always  looking for a clever approach to a destination and a surefire way of convincing an editor. For me, my partners in crime are Randi and Passionate Travel. --- Andrew Lindy New York A Perfect Match I have been working with Randi Winter for many years and I have always found that  she not only matched what I thought our family wanted in a vacation, but she anticipated better than I could imagine and turned each vacation into a magical  and memorable time.  We have been on so many exciting vacations: things I would never have thought of myself. Randi has sent me on a Whale watching expedition with my kids, a river barge trip through the Burgundy wine country in France (my cholesterol has never been the same!), seen the sights of most of Europe’s most memorable cities through her guides along with premier accommodations and all at better pricing than I could ever find, (and often with upgrades and other special touches). My most recent and probably, my all time favorite, was  the SeaDream Yacht Club.  My husband I travelled for a  week on a luxury yacht, up and down the coast the Italian Riviera, on a gorgeous vessel that held just 100 pampered passengers along with 100 in crew.   It doesn't get any better than this..  We ate, traveled and felt like Kings and Queens !! I also appreciated how she has been willing to help support my charity activities with wonderful and creative donations from her extraordinary suppliers.
