Day 1&2: Lodge Accommodation at Jacks Camp, Makgadikgadi Pans (Fully Inclusive)
On arrival in Maun your will be met by a Game Trails representative and escorted onto a light aircraft to Jacks Camp in the Makgadikgadi Pans.
The Makgadikgadi Pans
The complex of the salt pans found in Botswana’s eastern region are a striking physical feature and some of the largest of their kind in the world. The pans are huge, flat expanses of hot, sun blasted terrain that were once part of a great super lake which covered much of northern Botswana. In the wet season, this vast area of salt pans interspersed with low-lying grass islands is the destination of herds of migrating zebra. It has a mysterious unspoilt beauty unlike any other part of Africa.
Jack’s Camp
Jack's Camp is a classic desert safari camp, furbished in a traditional East Africa ‘40’s safari style, accommodating 16 guests in 8 large walk-in tents, each with en suite bathroom with flush toilet and shower. Accommodation is comfortable and in keeping with the character of the Makgadikgadi.
Activities are conducted in open 4x4 vehicles custom designed for this terrain and accompanied by knowledgeable guides. Only in the dry winter months are all-purpose ATV vehicles (a four wheeler motorcycle) available, allowing guests to travel across the saltpans. Walks with a Bushman tracker and visits to historical baobab trees used by Livingstone and Selous are alternate options.
Day 3 – 9: Miracel Rivers Luxury Mobile Tented Safari With Game Trails, Moremi Game Reserve (Fully Inclusive)
Following your morning activity, you will be transferred by light aircraft from Jacks Camp in the Makgadikgadi Pans to Xakanaxa Airstrip in Moremi Game Reserve. You will be met at the airport by your guide on arrival and transferred to your mobile tented camp in the Xakanaxa region on Moremi Game Reserve.
Moremi Game Reserve
Moremi Game Reserve forms an intricate part of the Okavango Delta and is renown for it’s concentration and diversity of wildlife. Elephant, hippo, buffalo, lion, leopard and most other game can be seen in abundance. Bird life, in both the Delta and dry-land sections is excellent.

Miracle Rivers Itinerary
You will spend the next three nights camping in an exclusive wilderness campsite in the Xakanaxa region of the reserve, exploring this oasis on game drives. This area boasts magnificent scenery as well as a multitude of bird and animal life.
You will also have the opportunity to explore the endless network of crystal clear waterways and secret lagoons of the Okavango Delta by motor boat, stopping on one of the palm fringed islands for a picnic lunch. The papyrus lined channels are home to the elusive sitatunga antelope as well as a variety of spectacular bird life including a host of migrant birds.
On day 6, you will make your way towards the Khwai region of the reserve, enjoying a game drive and picnic lunch en route. The Khwai River forms the eastern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. Vast herds of buffalo and elephant are common in the dry season with regular sightings of leopard, lion and cheetah.
The following three nights will be spent camping at an exclusive Khwai community campsite on the border of Moremi Game Reserve, exploring the area on game drives both during the day and at night. Exploring after dark with spotlights offers you an opportunity to experience some of the nocturnal animals that are rarely encountered during the day. We will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding wilderness on foot and enjoy an up close and personal encounter with Botswana’s flora and fauna. It is important to note that night drives and guided walks are not permitted within the national parks and reserves. These activities are conducted outside the boundaries of the Moremi Game Reserve in the Khwai community area.
Day 9&10: Lodge Accommodation at Stanleys Camp, Private Concession NG32 (Fully Inclusive)
On the morning of day 9, you will be transferred by light aircraft from Khwai Airstrip in Moremi Game Reserve to Stanleys Camp in a nearby private concession area in the Okavango Delta.
Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta is one of the world’s largest inland river systems. The Okavango River, born in the uplands of Angola to the northwest, flows into and fans out across the Kalahari Desert to form an immense inland delta of lagoons, channels and palm fringed islands. This fragile ecosystem is home to a wide diversity of birds and wildlife that is of the very best to be seen in Africa.
Stanleys Camp
Guests accommodation consists of 8 classic styled safari tented. The delicately appointed tented exude classic Africa. The main building is raised up on decking and offer extensove views over the surrounding floodplains.
Stanley’s Camp offers some of the best game viewing in the Okavango, including an abundance of buffalo, elephant, girrafe, lion, cheetah and wild dog. One of the wondeful features of Staley’s Camp is an educational experience with a herd of semi-habituated African elephants. Spend a day learning about the elephants and observing them up close in their natural environment. Other activities at Stanleys Camp include seren water safaris in Mokoros (traditional dug-out canoes), day and night game drives, and walking safaris. Water safaris are dependant on the ever changing water levels of the Okavango Delta.

Day 11&12: Lodge Accommodation At Chobe Chilwero, Chobe (Fully Inclusive)
Following your morning activitiy, you will be transferred by light aircraft from Stanleys Camp in NG2 to Chobe Chilwero in the Chobe region near Kasane, bordering the Chobe National Park and Chobe River.
Chobe
Chobe encompasses a wide variety of diverse habitats and is home to a breathtaking variety of animals and birds – one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the southern African subcontinent. Chobe is famous for it’s large herds of elephant and buffalo, and boasts dramatic zebra migrations in the wet season.
Chobe Chilwero
Chobe Chilwero boasts elegantly appointed accommodations, white-glove service, gourmet meals and fine wines. Relax in genteel, air-conditioned luxury thatched cottages, with en-suite, sunken handcrafted baths, indoor and outdoor showers, private gardens and terraces overlooking the magnificant Chobe River. Activities include game drives in the Chobe National Park, or water safaris on the Chobe River. Fishing safaris can be arranged on request for an additional fee.
Day 13&14: Lodge Accommodation at The River Club or Songwe Point Village in Livingstone, Zambia (Fully Inclusive)
On the morning of day 13, you will be transferred by light aircraft from Kasane to Livingstone.
The River Club
The River Club is situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, 18 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls. It faces westward into the sunset and onto the Zambezi National Park on the opposite side of the river. The River Club is set among the lush riverine vegetation and the camp has a distinct Edwardian flavour. Guests here can enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River in a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds. The River Club is operated by Wilderness Safaris.
Ten luxury thatched chalets accommodate a maximum of 20 people. The rooms overlook the Zambezi River, and have en-suite facilities including a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Two honeymoon suites are available. All the rooms have fans. The main house comprises the dining room, lounge and pub area, and has an interesting library. The swimming pool has a magnificent view over the river for those who wish to relax in the sun. Guests may stay here either under an all-inclusive rate, or on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
The Victoria falls is one of the seven "Wonders of the World" and is arguably the greatest waterfall anywhere. Daily excursions to the Falls are a highlight and boating trips to the Zambezi River's islands provide wonderful activities. Fishing and sundowner trips are offered, as are daily visits to the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park for White Rhino and other game. Trips to the Livingstone and Railway Museums and a nearby African village are also offered. Other activities available at extra cost include: white water rafting, river surfing, bungi jumping, abseiling, parachuting, microlight and helicopter flights over the Falls, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and canoeing.
Songwe Point Village
Songwe Village is located on 300 acres of private land 5km downstream from the Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the natural world. The property adjoins the world heritage site and is only 11km (7 miles) from the Victoria Falls. Songwe Village is on the Zambia side of the Zambezi river and perched 300 feet above the deeply incised and rugged Batoka gorge.
Songwe Village is built to resemble a traditional village and the atmosphere is just as peaceful, calm and relaxed as the local villages – time slows down to African time and so will you. Songwe has 8 guest huts in an oval pattern each named after past chiefs of the Mukuni people. Our staff will ensure that you enjoy all that the Falls has to offer in their personal style.
Your exposure to African culture will be subtle and interesting and tailored to suit your interests – Songwe Village is not a cultural show.
